help with identification please!
« on: September 23, 2011, 06:56:19 PM »
Hi , I am fairly new to collecting scandiavian glass and came across this piece attached recently at a car boot- really striking, with no identifying marks, it stands approx 340mm high x 150mm at the widest point, lovely clear glass with a heavy 'paperweight base. Can anyone help with the identification- not worried of its not Scandinavian at all, just curious about its origins.

I've removed your duplicate post in Scandinavian glass as ID requests should be posted into Glass please, which you had already done. If the item is confirmed as Scandi one of the Moderators will move it over to the Scandi forum for you.

It might be useful for you to familiarise yourself with how the board works by reading some of our Help posts here http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/board,22.0.html whilst you're waiting for someone to reply. :)
