Topic: Vase ID "Redw/Hanging Hearts?"

Would like any information on this vase. Shows almost black in normal light, but red under bright light.
Still working on my picture skills...

I would suggest probably Bohemian, perhaps Kralik. Try taking your pictures in daylight (but not outside, in front of a window is better) against a plain white untextured background (a large sheet of paper, for example).

I don't know much about Poschinger, but I think this "hanging hearts" pattern might be by them?

I did originally think Poschinger, although the base finish didn't look right, on close inspection it does look slightly more cruder than most Poschinger I have seen before.

I suspect the "hearts" are leaves - a more likely interpretation if this is from the age of Art Nouveau, or using Art Nouveau as inspiration.

I don't know when heart-shaped images became popular - is it not sometime closer to all-things-girlie must be pink and care bears/forever friends tacky stuff?
