Yes I noticed that too.
It's a shame they didn't do amber as I have always thought that a wonderful colour in glass....when the sun catches amber it is a lovely butterscotch colour.
I have found over the years in collecting amber seems to be the lesser colour that people collect....more for me lol

I generally don't do amber unless it's uranium amber and I positively dislike frosted amber.

Hi Anne

Thanks for the link. I wonder why they didn't make amber for this clock as well. Also noticed that I haven't recall seeing a Peter Pan or the Ship with the large waterlily bowl in amber too....Have you, Nige?

Cheers
Brenton

I have never seen them myself either....I do recall someone once telling me they saw an amber Nymphen dressing table set and on ebay a while back there was for sale an amber 3 graces which looked amazing.
I know you have said in the past that Australians don't usually like amber.
I have a lovely amber Gansiliesel figure in amber seerose bowl.

Some collectors here do collect amber glass but majority here prefer green pink or blue glass

Think I have to admit the best pieces I have in Walther amber are probably amber Orla as she is a thick dark golden brown colour and my amber Glasgow which shows great detailing of the ladies stretching and the folds of their clothing.
Have you seen my other post Brenton with the green float bowl with the lilypads? Wondered if you had any clue about it?

Just looked at it, I believe it was made by Mueller, Germany.

That's gorgeous!  I think they rank alongside the bowl with the pelican (sorry no idea what it is but I did like the sculpture middle bit) as the ones I like best in these.
