I was Fooled -- Candy Dish -- Thatched Design ??
« on: October 02, 2011, 03:28:06 PM »
 :hi:

I was fooled by these, as I thought that they would Glow.....but No Glow.

I think they are Candy Dishes, or Bon Bon Dishes ?  They are pressed glass about 4.50 inches tall, bowl about 4 inches wide, and bottom base about 2.5 inches wide.  They have a *thatched* design on them.  So they do not glow, and I do not have a clue as to the maker, or the age of them at all  but they are still pretty.

TIA

Hi Rose. :hi:

Did you mean thatched or hatched??  Are these solid, ie can they hold liquid, or are the lines of glass all there is?
Rosie.

Hi there:

Nope, no opening in the Thatch.....lol.

Yup, I could put Water or Candies in it....and nothing would flow out.  The thatch pattern is just the raised design on the Glass.  Guess I was not clear how I expalined it, whoooooooops..........lola
