Signed on base "glass works"
« on: October 07, 2011, 07:29:10 AM »
Hi, Can any body help I.D. this vase. I bought it at auction in a job lot of Alum Bay glass, but this is not Alum Bay.
It is signed on the bottom "glass works". Any help greatly appreciated.
Patrick

First off - welcome to the board - hope you find it as useful as I do.

The advice from Kevin H, Myself & Christine will help you get effective help more quickly.  Remember photos must be less than 125KB (JPEG of course) and both dimensions must be less than 1000 pixels.  I practice this will be about 650 x 650 pixels but you need to make the photo as large as you can, for all our ageing eyes.

Much better photos, Patrick.  :hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp:      Now to work on making them larger.

This vase looks like a small studio piece and as such someone from that part of the world will be much more helpful - than an old duffer nearly 12,000miles away.  Hopefully you will have someone recognise the style and give you some direction.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully I'll get the hang of sizing these pics
