Help Appreciated ID this vase - Finnish?
« on: October 10, 2011, 09:05:59 PM »
I purchased this vase together with a few Finnish vase hence I am assuming it MIGHT be Finnish. Would anyone be able to cast a light as to origin?
It is 23cm tall.
Best Regards

I wouldn't take that as gospel unless backed up by a reliable source. A quick search on designlasi reveals nothing similar by Helena Tynell.

I'm not saying you're not right, just that Millers is not to be relied on

It's a nice vase in many ways but I really don't care for the protrusions at the base  ..  almost anatomic, I won't say in which regard! I like the rest of it very much though and sorry to cast aspersions on your acquisition!    ;)

Possibly by Sea Glasbruk, Kosta, Sweden. I had a vase of similar form and texture which was ID'd as Sea by Della:
