Really ugly but funky fish... origin?
« on: October 17, 2011, 04:08:17 PM »
I bought this fish about 6 years ago as a Christmas present for my parents. (I'm a good and loving daughter.)  They forgot to take it back with them to Canada, and forgot all the other times they were here for a visit since then...   ;D

Taking a closer look at it today, I realized that it's quite well made.  The clear glass is extremely clear, and the details are in no way sloppy.  It's quite a large beastie:

Height: 23cm
Length: 28cm
Weight: 502g

I would be interested in finding the country of origin, if not maker. I bought it second hand, and it was sold to me as Czech.

All thoughts on the piece appreciated.  Thank you!
