oversized brandy vase - Czech?
« on: October 31, 2011, 11:40:30 AM »
Hoping someone can shed some light on this oversized brandy vase. It is flashed or cased - and acid etched (or blasted) to clear. The foot is satinated.  For the combination of techniques I am tempted to say Czech, the type of decoration screams seventies.

Can anyone narrow it down?  I've had this one for more than 20 years....

Is there much wear on the foot Ivo? I ask because I have seen vases in blue decorated with the same pattern recently and I thought they were new.

hard to tell because it is satinated. But I know it is at least 20 years old
