Need Help Identifying Threaded Vase
« on: November 02, 2011, 12:22:16 AM »
Stands 11  inches by 5.5 inches. Has small amount of gold flaking in base and ruffled top, and signed Peschcc? or poschecho? Signature is so small it is nearly impossible for me to photograph. Hopefully someone here may recognize
the style. thnx for looking.

Don't know who made it, but it has filigrana (or filigree), instead of threading. Threading refers to finer filaments that are applied to the surface of a vessel normally. (I'll take my stuffy educator's hat off now.)

A photo of the signature would be a great help.  In this thread http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,35231.0.html , on page one,  I suggested a number of ways to see a signature  more clearly.  I suggest you consider using the shallow angle technique as it removes the effect of the stunning pattern in your vase base.
