The sort doesn't stick, it's user-dependent, so whatever your sort settings are override the ones someone sets in the link. That's why the Help file says to always link to an image using the absolute link below each image.

Michelle has asked me if I will update this thread as we have at last found the maker of DNS glass with the help of another glassie, Tracey.

It seems that DNS is the initials for Canadian glass studio belonging to  David New-Small

hello Rosie......  hope all is well with you.                May we ask please why Michelle hasn't provided this information herself  -  after all it was said lady who started this thread, and you do say you know Michelle will be very grateful should we be able to add any further info ?? 
Do our humble efforts not reach the required standard any longer?

thanks Anne - oh, silly me, and here I was think that it was because some folk who were staunch members back then had decided they no longer needed the GMB.
