IIttala Festivo Candlesticks - did other manufacturers copy?
« on: November 27, 2011, 03:39:26 PM »
Hi,

Out of curiosity did other glass factories make similar candle stick designs to Timo Sarpaneva's Festivo design.  I came across some examples yesterday that were inherently the same design but texturing wasn't the same and they didn't seem to be as good quality as some examples I have seen.  They were also unmarked ?

I wondered if other factories issued similar designs in a way that factories such as ravenhead replicated similar designs to the whitefriars textured range ?

Sorry i have no photos to show but I wondered if anyone would know ?

Regards

Rob

Thanks I thought so - does anyone have any pics comparing some of the copies with the originals.  I found some previous threads on the fourm relating to this but no pics ?

Thanks Rob
