Help needed to ID 2 plates
« on: December 12, 2011, 06:49:43 AM »
Hi,
Here I am again with a couple of mysteries I would love some help to identify.

The first one is similar to Brockwitz's Kopenhagen (but isn't), it is pretty roughly made - no makers ID anywhere on it.

The other piece I think is the tray from a cruet set - someone suggested Czechoslovakian.

Any ideas much appreciated
cheers
Auliya

You are best posting them in separate threads for IDs so we don't get confused. Sizes and how the base rims are finished would be useful.

I am not sure what to do with this thread if I start 2 more, so I will post the measurements here:

The round plate is 8.5 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches high. the base doesn't have a rim as such, it is like a circular raised section with the pattern incised into it.

The tray is 8 inches long by 4 inches wide, and has no base rim, the pattern is on the outside, it is smooth on the inside.

thanks
Auliya
