well I went down the road, carried all my insulators (and they are so heavy) - regrettably no wealthy friends from the States or Oz as I was led to believe - but found these two vases in the Charity shop

.
The part frosted amethyst piece is Vaclav Hanus for Hermanova with the popular name of 'Drapery' vase from about 1957 (also produced in completely clear examples and other colours apparently) - 10 inches tall. Do people know if the part frosted variety is much scarcer than the clear version?? - please. Unfortunately, I have long since ceased collecting Czech seriously, but might keep this one.
The other piece is uranium, and gives a very strong glow - quite yellowish green - about 7" tall, and is made by ..........??
