Hi

I've been watching your enquiry with interest.

I have always wondered why, particularly in the UK, Schneider is so little collected.

I know this board spreads much further than the UK but still you seem to have had little response. I think Schneider made some of the best glass there is (personally I prefer the pieces they branded Schneider to the Charder and LVF)

Well I do buy (and sell) it and almost all the pieces I sell go to either Australia or New Zealand -strange!

Good for you for collecting such great glass!

cheers

Mike

You just don't see it here, even if you could afford it.

Schneider was a major item in UK 80s/90s, but seemed to have slipped off the horizon by 2000s as British glass from the period gathered a following in the 90s. I was quite amazed a few years ago that many on this board had not even heard of it. Still fairly strong on the continent. Portobello and Bermondsey used to be a good source.

Mike, I drool over your site listings regularly  ;D your glass is absolutely fabulous.   I would love a 'serious' piece of glass, but for me that would entail not spending on any for a while and I haven't quite got my head round that way of thinking.....yet...

 ;D

Speaking of which, would you be willing to put a link to your site in your "signature" bit here, Mike? Please?
It would make it easier for us to investigate and drool over it.....
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Thanks to all the responders from Georgetown Massachusetts

I agree with mike;the Schneiders are in my opinion more appealing than LVF pieces

I am trying to post pictures of a very special vase I got from my dad but cannot make them go through since I get an error message because of having a limit on the MB contect of each

Any help or shortcut tips appreciated

German
