Maker for this tankard please?
« on: December 18, 2011, 08:09:47 PM »
I've seen a tankard in this design for sale on a site described as Dartington, designed by Frank Thrower, design number FT15 however more surfing identified FT15 as a Ship's decanter.  Anyone know if this is Dartington and if so what design number and if not then what or whom?  Height 5 3/8".  Ground pontil.  Any help greatly appreciated.  Annie  ;D

It looks like an FT5 but without a shot straight on from the side it's hard to tell. Shots at an angle distort what we're seeing.
