Hey gang, first post here, but I've been reading, off and on, for a month or so.
Been collecting Paperweights since the mid 80's, got hooked, and for a few years was active, then other interests took hold, but six months ago, I pulled the good weights out that I purchased from L.H.Selman, and was surprised that most had increased in value, and was AGAIN struck with admiration for the skill, talent, and perseverance it takes to make these high end lampworked weights.
So, I've spent a small fortune again, and have aquired a hundred more, mostly name artists, and some better Millefiori. Recently I've been trying to obtain as many good Colin Richardson, David Graebers, Rick and Melissa Ayottes, Ray and Bob Banfords, Debbie Tarsitano's, P. Stankards, and J. Deacons as I can find that meet my standards.
In any case, I do, from time to time, buy some oddities of little value just because they strike my fancy.
That prompts my first post here. I don't particularly like CRIMP ROSE's, but this one on eBay struck me as different, the shape of the dome, and the color and execution of the crimp rose. I cannot place it, so my fellow weight lovers, is anyone game to identify this one for me? If so, thank you in advance.
