Topic: Huge Unusual Dartington Crystal Bowl 1970s?

Hello to all,

I found this huge bowl, acid stamped on base, "DARTINGTON" in tiny letters, but I can find no other reference to it, anywhere I find info on Dartington. It is far bigger than anything else Ive seen, it looks more like a Scandinavian maker to me, a single flowing shape to it, very fluid. About 30cm rim diameter by 17cm tall, my kitchen scales go up to 5kg(it read ERR), and they couldnt measure its weight, flat polished base. Simple elegant design

Did they make such art pieces in the 1970s? or special comisson? any ideas as to name of designer, year or other would be appreciated,, many thanks in advance.    Simon

It is not from the 1970s, probably 90s or this century.
