Hi you kind and informative people of GMB , I was wonder if anyone could give me a positive ID to the Maker or Country of Origin of this piece , I have here this 12" high with a 4" diameter base vase , It has a kink in it , a thick clear glass base and the rest is an amber colour , the opening has a rim thickness of 5.5mm , I thank you all now for any answers received . Regards Roy

Personally I am thinking Polish/Eastern Europe.  Is the base ground flat or has it been formed in a mould?  Flat may indicate a better quality maker.  It is very much a "Designer" furniture piece that you find gracing furniture in stores to my way of thinking.
