Geometric Smoked Glass Ashtray? Maker ??
« on: January 17, 2012, 10:12:42 PM »
 :hi:

Not sure who made this -- or IF it could be Murano?  It is my first piece in a Geometric shape.  Size is about 3.5 for the sides, and about 2 inches high.   Base has good wear on it.  A little over a pound in weight.  Smaller size of ashtray as I placed a cig in it for Size comparison....Might as well use for what it was intended for   LOL

Any ideas on the maker, or the year made?

Thanks, as always.... :kissy:

I would say Murano, i don't think i've ever seen one with grooves in it though, maybe i haven't been looking closely enough at them.  :ooh:

It's a personal ashtray and possibly Mandruzatto. Cigarettes didn't use to be so long.
