Ebay Listing for Theresienthal Goblet
« on: January 20, 2012, 11:58:35 AM »
I have five or six of these glasses and have been trying to identify them for years. I found this on Ebay and wondered if anyone could tell me if they think the attribution is correct.

FWIW here is the current range of historical roemers
http://theresienthal.de/cms/front_content.php?idart=97
feel free to check out the more modern glass they make, it is worth it.

I'm not sure your e-bayer is accurate - he places Theresienthal in Austria so the rest of the information may be equally flawed.

Thanks Ivo

I was unsure if it was accurate - I have previously posted mine on here and came up with nothing. But I will take a look at your link.  :)

Yes,

the attribution is correct.
Its is the roemer Nr. 2852 in "jagdgrün", some kind of a dark and little blue green.
This roemer first appears in a catalogue http://www.roemer-aus-theresienthal.de/letzte12.jpg to be dated on 1936.
Kind regards

Stephan
