I am a big fan of the Bagley Sunburst jugs. Nice find.

Hi Hil!   Small bowls back left are possibly Chippendale - I have a set with these in. Rear middle is Bagley jug, as Nemmie says, front centre Davidson, and I think front left is Davidson too...  no idea what the big beastie is on the right. Can you take some pics of it alone and post that separately please so we can see it in more detail?

Not a bad haul for that price!

An easy one for me, Sowerby 'Daisy Block' rowboat. Had one in carnival glass once.

Hi all. Sorry I should have said - I knew what they all were when I bought them - I was posting to show off really. It seems that the days of charity shop bargains in glass are becoming a thing of the past and when I got these pieces (from several different shops too) I was rather amazed at the prices I paid, Bagley jug £2 Chippendale dishes 25p each, Sowerby boat £1 (damaged) Davidson bowl with blackberry prunts 50p and the 'big beastie'
with underplate £3 - this one was kindly identified by Della some time ago when I bought my first one -
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,31392.msg170055.html#msg170055.

Having noticed a trend of rising prices on Ebay for pressed glass of late, it was just nice to get a little haul for less than a tenner (£7.50p - not £8.50p as I said in my first post haha!)

Oh and I seem to have forgotten to mention the Rudolf Schrotter lens vase for £2

Thanks for looking
Hil :)

S'OK Hil, we can pretend we were just revising what we know.  8) And I remember seeing the big beastie now you linked to the earlier topic. :)

TC, thanks, Sowerby it was!  :D

I had similarly good days last week when I found a small Kosta snowball candleholder, a Whitefriars 9548 (I think!), a Stolzl candlestick, a Davidson cloud candlestick, and 2 mystery trinket pots, and had change from £8; followed by a larger Stuart Stratford bowl in green, and a mystery bowl in amber for £4, so was quietly chuffed! :) I only popped into the charity shop whilst waiting for himself to do the banking!

Gosh, i'm so out dated with prices. It's great holding onto glass pieces and then watching the prices go up when you look again 10 years later.

I spotted one of these on the car boot today... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370577626813#ht_500wt_997

I left it as i already have one, a bigger one, 7 inches high.

There was nothing else really, i was just glad i got myself out for a bit.
