We do have a policy on the use of copyright material, which is a complex area as we have members in many countries, we are hosted in the USA (therefore subject to their laws), and the board owner lives in New Zealand, just to further complicate matters. Anyhow, I've added an update to the Help topic on Copyright today, which further explains the board's position in respect of the UK.

Plus the National Archives have strict requirements on how their material is reproduced, even though they are public documents. As ever, we err on the side of caution in order to protect the board. It does us no favours if we are accused of copyright infringements and could put the whole board at risk of closure. Hope you understand why we take this cautious stance.
