Checkerboard Panels pattern

Example of pattern on a plate or shallow bowl... http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-15970

I've seen this pattern a lot where i live so i was thinking it might be by a local manufacturer rather than Leerdam?. I'm just wondered if anyone knows if the Leerdam star that is found on some of their patterns is an exact match or not?

I came by this http://www.inchicore-pressedglass-museum.org/0496-1.htm

It is by Greener and is registration number 626977. Although it's not an exact match it does show that Greener had similar stars in their patterns.

Here is another star from Tony H album marked 'BRITISH MAKE' which looks as though it 'might' be a Jobling bowl...

One day I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine. William Hartnell
