Clear glass vase with daisies - 24cm
« on: February 11, 2012, 08:02:25 PM »
Pressed glass clear vase with daisies measuring 24cm tall. No makers name or signature to the base but the middle of it has a round mark. Any ideas?

The daisy pattern is identical to that on a well known Carnival piece called the Illinois Daisy biscuit jar. You can see an example on the Carnival Glass Society (UK) website here.

I've not managed to track down the maker of the biscuit jar, although the shape of it reminds me of some Rindskopf covered biscuit jars. However, it is often found in the USA (hence the pattern name - LOL) and it could well be Depression era glass.
