Pressed Glass With Claw Feet - Help Please
« on: February 19, 2012, 01:27:00 PM »
Hello all.  Does anyone know the maker of this vase?  It is a really good finish and could easily be mistaken for cut glass but the 4 Claw feet and the seams give it away.  You will see that the base is stepped and where the seams go through the base there is a Lions Claw foot.  I cannot find any marks and from the style I was assuming around 1900 or so and possibly French?  But this one was bought in England unlike most of my things from home in France.
Thanks again for all your help

markus
