Didn't take our cameras this time (thank goodness for Rosie!  ;D )  but J got a couple of pics with his phone.

Ray Annenberg and Brian Slingsby, both ex Whitefriars, examining a couple of rarities.

Thanks for those pictures Leni.....I didn't get to meet you all on the W/F stand,  but I did buy an elephant from aa that he had put some of Ray Annenberg's Whiteriars canes in....it is so pretty and will go to my new Grandaughter when I pop my clogs!  I also bought a beautiful dark blue ellie as well from aa that will go to my Grandson......he is nearly nine and already showing an interest in glass.  I give him a piece now and then and his little face lights up.....nice to see him appreciate the art when he is so young.

I have now resized the pictures that wouldn't load, and added them to the collection.  Also added some text and comments to most of the pics.  If I have made any errors, please feel free to email me at the little envelope on the LHS and I will correct them.

That's a LOT of work Rosie - thank you so much for doing it so we can all share!

Pic 33/70 is a bit by Mike Hunter. Ron is including Mike's amazing work in his repertoire of top artists.

carrying on, I suspect the fabby filigrano owl with canes for eyes might be Mike Hunter too - in a pic called pwt row.

Thank you for that Sue....if you look at file 48/70, in the far background just behind a large green vase is a tall dark bottle....is this the signed Michael Harris one you were chatting about that cost £800?

It might be.  :spls:

Here's a pic of my two. Not signed by MH, though. They've got Said's signature on them.

File 17/70 shows work by glass artist Carrie Anne Funnell rather than by Robert Marris who sells antique drinking glasses etc.

And there was me thinking Bob had diversified! ;D
(Well, Jim Megura went from being a maker to selling very old glass - though I think some folk are trying to persuade him to do a U-turn. I certainly am.)
