unusual WMF ice bucket

No sign of a liner in the WMF catalogue. One puzzle is that both designs have a note "mit Rost", literally meaning with rust, which makes no sense at all.

Perhaps the silver rimmed version has a liner? Is yours marked as silver plate?

no silver plate mark it's just stamped as in the photo WMF

Frank:
In which case it is almost certainly Nickel silver and not plate. Meanwhile solved the 'mit rost' which is basically a grill that fits in the bottom.
