IDing an item for a friend. I suspect the label is not from the manufacturer but from an independent retailer - perhaps in the secondhand market?????

The '1's are European - I suspect German and there is number 1999 (not the year, my friend's had it longer than that) and the /15 doesn't relate to the hight - unlike German ceramics.

Does 'samoa' relate to a product name.

I think its crystal as there is weight and clarity to the glass.

My friend picked this up with a similar quality Friedrich 'lava' glass vase that has a similar paper label on the base. I think the origin of the paper label is a German wholesaler as the when my friend bought these he was told they came from closing down sale of an independent homewares shop in Salford - near Manchester in the late 1980s.
