Whitefriars or Sklo or ?
« on: March 25, 2012, 07:59:45 PM »
:) Hi At last I have found a way of resizing my images so I can post them here !! 1st one is a vase I bought a few weeks ago I thought at first might be Whitefriars but now I am not so sure....It is 19cms high and very heavy thick irregular glass with impressed pattern which at first looked like pinecones but now I think are leaves ...Help please  :-\

Hi,
your vase has been made by Ingridglas in the 70īs.  :)
The search function of this board will surely bring you some related items.

Just to remind you that sklo simply means glass in the Czech language, so any question saying Is this sklo? will most likely bring the answer yes, it's glass. It's always safer to ask, Is this Sklo Union? if you are referring to Czech pressed glass production. :)
