Whitefriars Bark?
« on: March 19, 2006, 02:24:38 PM »
This was sold to me last year as a Whitefriars "Bark" vase.  I naively believed the seller, but now I have my doubts.  (Sadly, we seldom see Whitefriars in the States; it seems they didn't import much of it).  Does anyone know who made this piece?  Is it Swedish, Finnish, or something else?  Or perhaps Whitefriars?

Charles.

Aww Charles!  This kind of thing happens to all of us, but it's so disppointing to find out something isn't what you thought it was.  {{charles}}

Charles, your not far from me and I can tell you just keep looking. I did find one piece of Whitefriars, a pot bellied vase in ruby. I also have or had one like yours in clear and Peter aka Paradisetrader set me straight really fast. I actually have a collection of bark or log looking vases. Ye gods, another collection I didn't realize I had. It is fun though you have to admit Terry

Charles, your Tinypics have been munched, do you still have copies of the pics please? If so would you add copies back to the board for us as reference? Thanks.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd
