Topic: Strange yellow glass with pulled lugs, bubbles and yellow inclusions

Bowl with pulled lugs, bubbles and some kind of yellow inclusions. I have tried to photograph the yellow where it bleeds out of the top rim.

Flat base that is not well polished.

I think I saw something similar a couple of weeks ago on here but cannot find the thread now. I think the discussion was if it was Czech or not.

The bubbles are a bit Nazeing or Gray-Stan - I'm not good on these makers - but I'd be more inclined to the Gray-Stan camp if it turns out to be one or t'other.
I may be barking up the wrong tree completely.

That's a funny foot somehow  is it ground but not highly polished shiny?  it looks as thought he foot should have curved in more, in a  type of flattened bun foot way, but that someone has sliced it in half or ground it flatter if you see what I mean?  Or is it just the photos?
I like it - lovely technique and colour.

Yup, the base looks out of place - it's what you expect to see on contemporary Chinese glass.

Although some (older, but not, to my knowledge, fully identified) Romanian glass has this rough polish on the base of pieces.

edited to add, come to think of it, the Romanian stuff has this sort of bubble!
However, the pieces which have been found all have bigger inclusion-ney black (charcoal?) bubbles and they are all finished off with a very "bright" rainbowy lustre.
I've got a yellow bowl in my mitts - and it's a very different yellow- it's kind of acidy greeny yellow.
It doesn't look as well made as this piece of yours.

Nazeing or Gray-Stan - I wish!

The colour is very interesting - a kind of dirty yellow. It' also interesting the way it becomes more solid toward the top and then the enamel (?) bleeds out. The opacity of the colourant is similar to some orange Romanian glass I have.

This vase does have a luster finish, but it doesn't show on the photo. I forgot to mention in the original question.

The way the base is ground is similar to a couple of pieces of Romanian glass I have. It has remains of where the pontil is snapped off.

Unfortunately it doesn't do anything under UV Christine. Imagine if it did - a uranium mace!

I was hoping an orange glow might put it back in time a bit, when cadmium was used for yellow - no longer (well only in paint on McDonald's glasses!) because it is a toxic heavy metal (OK in the glass but not to use in its raw form)
