Hi,

Quite an inheritance. It is going to be difficult to respond with so many items and some pics are too dark or blurry to see. In many case a view of the underside would probably help too.

What is the inscription on the red flashed lidded cheese dish(?) 'glass 036'

Wow, what a representative collection. In going through your pictures I spotted Early American pattern glass, what appears as Brilliant cut glass, opalescent glass, czechoslovakian, Heisey, Northwood. Being presented with such a large assortment can be quite the challenge.  Perhaps if you can pick out certain items to post it would make it easier. Just a thought Terry

In going through your pics this morning, I jotted down the ones I know and the ones I suspected and did a little research. Anyway here goes:

EAPG 001-from the rim definately cut glass
EAPG 037-Manhattan pattern, originally U.S. Glass but reproduced by Anchor hocking and Tiffin in the 1950s
EAPG 076-Austrian pattern creamer made by Indiana Tumbler and Goblet company or more popularly known Greentown
EAPG 145- I suspect those vases are Czechoslovakian
EAPG 153- A Heisey plate with "Shawl Dancer" etch
EAPG 167- Harry Northwoods Leaf mold red spatter. I suspect this might have had a lid which would make it the sugar to the table set.
EAPG 170- Amberette pattern by George Duncan and Sons
Glass 012- Nautilus in canary opalescent, originally thought to be Northwood, but now known to be by Dugan after Northwood left.
Glass 014- A nice piece of Vaseline stretch
Glass 036- Button arches, ruby stained and souvenired

Anyway this is a start and maybe others can add to it. Terry

I'll add what I recognized:

EAPG 0301 - Anchor Hocking Ball & Rib c. 1940s - only made in this bowl and a vase

EAPG - 038 Imperial Glass Cape Cod in cobalt

EAPG  059 & 104  - Indiana Glass Diamond Point

EAPG 62 - Federal Mixing Bowl in Golden Glow

Glass 001 - pretty sure  this is a Northwood design in Opalescent glass but I haven't found the exact pattern

Glass 014 & 16 - as Terry said - nice pieces of Stretch glass - the first I would call a cone sherbet

Hi all, thank you so much for the info. First, Frank, the )036 lidded cheese dish has inscribed on it as follows...Cortland
                                                  >7/4/6-0.
the other side is inscribed Elizabeth Cozzens

Terry, thank you so much for the info, so very helpful...

Thank you Connie, like the others very helpful...its a start until I can afford to buy more books, the ones I have sure havent been helpful.

What a FABULOUS collection of glass.  I saw several pieces of the American Brilliant period that looked very interesting.  Do any of your pieces have signatures on the cut glass?  If they do, I could hopefully narrow down some patterns for you.
Nancy

Thanks for looking Nancy, no none of the cut glass have markings on them. That sure does make it hard to ID I know. Which is why I am having such a hard time...Darlene

It may not even matter any more but the bowl pictured in the original post is TB Clark's "Prima Donna" pattern.
