Listed as Flavio Poli but looks just like Caithness 'Oban'?

This auction is ending soon and I may be completely wrong, but this looks just like a Caithness 'Oban' range vase.  (I only know because I had one that I got ID'd here last year.)

Thought so - from what I've seen of Flavio Poli vases (just a quick Google) this really isn't at all similar.

Just a word of caution. Googling Flavio Poli won't get you a very accurate idea of Poli's work. It's one area where Google--or rather the sources Google draws on--can't be trusted. For example, this vase would come up.

Very true and a good caution.  But at least it gave me a 'flavour' of Flavio Poli.  I certainly would normally check the source of a google result to see if it was reliable.
