I wonder if anyone recognises this distinctive moulded glass bowl, I came across seven of them at my local auction. Each one has a whole series of stylised tree/plant designs around the edges using dots and lines, maybe 10 separate illustrations, with a stylised tree/bush covering the entire base. Very light and playful in feel.
They measure 5.5 cm high x 8 cm diameter and weigh only 85 grams each.
I thought of Riihimaki as they're a bit like the Grapponia range, at least from photographs but  I haven't really handled any of their output before.

The pattern is closer to Iittala or Nuutajarvi i think.
One day I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine. William Hartnell

Nuutajarvi Notsjo, designed by Oiva Toikka in 1966 - from the Flora range of tableware. There is also a range called Fauna by the same designer.

Some Nuutajarvi Notsjo designs have been produced by Iittala (1990 and later), so it is possible that they could be found with Iittala labels too.
