Topic: why keep listing

think i'm sick of seeing these, http://goo.gl/QErXf must of cost a small fortune to keep relisting them, the seller starts of at £52  but at the end of the auction they go up to £90 ish , wonder why the sellers not got the sence to know there not going to sell

I suspect they only list on free listing days hoping to make a killing from some mug. I scrolled through 15 pages of completed items (mostly fairly ordinary or downright carp) and all at vastly inflated prices and there was only one sold item. I didn't bother with the other 94 pages.

hi Nancy..  put it in your watch list ,  the buy it now goes up £90 in the last day, .... if it was me and it did't sell at £52 i'd put the price down and not up

Flying free and I have had our eyes on a piece that's been regularly listed for months in the hope that the price will go down to something we feel is more affordable and that's gone up 20% since we've been watching it!

Dont forget that sellers can tell how many watchers they have.   So maybe if theres enough interest, perhaps the Buy it Now price gets increased?

Christine if it's what I think it is, I stopped watching but then came across it accidentally a while ago and thought it had gone up    but thought I'd imagined it.
I guess the buyers fluctuate and different people are on at different times, so if it is free listing, then it may be worth listing it.  But not to increase the asking price near the end time....that's a bit of an odd strategy if you ask me.

I'm not actually "watching" it but it pops up on my regular search every time it's relisted
