Set Of 3 Birds - Wedgwood?
« on: April 27, 2012, 06:12:05 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I have a set of 3 birds that are graduated in size and appear to be the mother, father and baby bird. My initial thought when I first saw them was 'Wedgwood' but I just cannot decide. They are not signed although do feel very good quality and are a nice heavy weight.

The largest bird is 6.5 inch in height and 6 inch in length.
The next bird is 6 inch high and 6.5 inch in length.
The smallest bird is 3.5 inch high and 3.75 inch in length.

Any help with their origin and possibly the maker would be much appreciated.

After doing a bit more digging I believe the birds are based on Northern Cardinal Birds or something very much alike which are a Northern American bird so could they possibly be American or Canadian?
