Topic: Iridescent knobbly freeform vase - Murano, Czech, Scandinavian?

Hi, I recently bought this bowl/vase/holder from a retired glass collector. He hadn't been able to identify it, but thought it was Scandinavian.
I've been hitting Google images for weeks and am still confused.

I haven't found any Scandinavian glass that is similar to the chunkiness and weight of this piece. And I've ruled out Liskeard and Whitefriars knobbly vases.

It seems more like freeform Murano, especially with the splashes and stripes of blue and red in the clear glass under the iridescence, but I haven't found any Murano (or Scandinavian glass) with iridescence.

A friend suggested Czech/Bohemia, and from one of your threads on this Site I wondered if it could be Chribska?

Hi, and welcome to the GMB.  I replied on another board.  Your vase looks pretty and I would like to view more shots but I don't view click links.  Please could you upload alternative pictures directly to the board? many thanks
Also is it 5cm high ? or 5inches high?  it makes a difference and it definitely can help identify pieces if we have the size and personally I quite like to know the weight as well if possible but size alone will do 
I would search Murano first, but that's just an instinctive thought on where *I* would look first.  I like it btw    I would have bought it.

I assume you've seen the pics on the 20th Century Forum. Those are the same as the ones on the link here (although there are more on the link - it's simply to my webshots account, so nothing to be afraid of clicking on. I have to resize every pic I post on this forum which I don't have time to do, sorry, but I can post more on the other forum if you like).
It's 2lb 4oz in weight (don't ask me what that is in grams  )
4"-5.5" wide, depending on where you measure it, and 4" high.

Could it be a Dominick Labino? I've been checking out his work and there are a few iridescent freeform glass vases he did in the 70s. He also made marbles before turning to other formas of glass, and this has a very marble-like iridescent finish.

I don't recognize the piece as Czech, where unsigned would be expected, nor Scandinavian, where unsigned would not be expected. That's interesting. I haven't seen anything from Caithness that is similar. Can you post a picture of your example?
