Well having identified the mark I now can't find anything else remotely like it, did/do they have an art glass division?

I have seen glass marketed as Royal Doulton - from memory I seem to recall they took over a glass manufacturers but I honestly couldn't tell you any more than that.
I'm sure you have searched this board but there just may be some more info on it on here perhaps?  I don't know, I can't recall anything to be honest.
Actually I've just done a quick search and there seem to be a number of topics on here for Royal Doulton so maybe that will throw up some more info.
 :)

Just got this reply from Doulton ref my vase:-

"Unfortunately, we have no old reference books here on Royal Doulton Crystal and its ranges,

Royal Doulton was taken over by Wedgwood approx 6 years ago, and in the re-location from the Doulton premises most of the old reference books were mistakenly thrown away or misplaced, When Wedgwood went into Administration 2009 the Royal Doulton Archivist lost his position within the Company, therefore, I am unable to consult anyone, or a reference book regarding your item"

Can't find any threads on this board either, does anyone have any ideas on Doulton studio/art glass?
