Another Ebay purchase here - I quite liked it from the start and watched it being listed and unsold until the 3rd time when I bought it.  The fact that nobody else was bidding (it was very cheap) leads me surmise that it's not from a known maker or just not attractive (?), but I thought I'd ask anyway.

It is very heavy (600g), 61/2" from tip of beak to end of tail.  The head is clear cherry red and the body very dark, I assume very dark red as not black.  There are flashes of shimmery gold bits in the body.  The base reminds me of Wedgwood glass figure bases.  No ID marks or label.

Any ID help would be greatly appreciated as always!
Nancy
