heavy ruby-red vase applied glass threads
« on: May 30, 2012, 11:39:22 AM »
Hello, i bought this vase on a german fleamarket, the seller said it is exbor... so czech. i am not sure about that information. probably czech but i can't find similar pieces in my books or in the www. It measures 29,5cm in height, 2552g, polished base, thick walled ruby-red glass with green applied threads.

Thank you!

Possibly recent and Chinese made.

no original label it was handwritten by the seller. it reads: Pavel Hlava Exbor 1968
It was not expensive but interesting and of good quality and unspoilt.

i wouldn't think recent, too much dust on the threads.

Thanks, Kevin
