Topic: Amber dish with attached Saucer ?

Here are the pictures of the Amber pot. It is 15cm across the base and 13cm across the pot and 9cm high. It seems to be made as one piece to me, the thickness in the middle at the base is not double thickness.

It's a honey or preserve pot and Stölzle I would guess

Forgot to mention that there was another pot the same size without the saucer part and it didn't have the lip on it that the lid sits on.

How about a sugar bowl for that one.

That would be the way to go most likely. The swag design does seem familiar and I will see what I can find. Thanks Lustrousstone

I mentioned this piece to Anne in the '3 footed sugar' link and she suggested a butter dish. Butter or preserve looks likely. not found the pattern yet but got the word Deckeldosen which loosely translates as a box with lid  so not too helpful lol.

Butters tend not to have upright sides or if they do very shallow ones and to have lips rather than saucers. The saucer is for your spoon and to catch any drips

That does make sense. I might list it as Deckeldosen  Preserve dish it is. I cant find the pattern yet. It looks really good with the sun shining in the window, it makes the amber come to life (Yes..I did say Sunshine) Someone will get a nice piece and that makes me happy so smiles all round.  Thanks for your time Lustrous, much appreciated. I think Christine's right - it looks like the Stoelzle / Hermanova pattern 18750?
