Hi. I am stumped on this 9 1/4" glass vase with enameling. It is unsigned, though in indelible red ink there is a fading handwritten "1908". Any idea as to the maker? Thank you very much in advance.

My opinion only...Bohemian. Its a very good question though as more than a few pieces passed off as Honesdale both as when it was part of Dorflinger & after 1916 when it was privately purchased by Carl Prosch that appear on eBay are Bohemian or whomever. Honesdale etching is stark white almost to the point of opaque & anything less than this stark white background is not Honesdale, plus many of the elaborate gold scenic decorations are not the rather simplistic linier decorations that appear on Honesdale. Nice quality sharp looking vase.

Ohio, Thank you very much for your response. I see what you mean. This vase is slightly frosted, not at all opaque as you describe Honesdale. Thank you for a valued opinion.
