red bowl ronald stennet wilson ?

Hi, this bowl is 7 3/4 inches high , 7 3/4 inches wide
the bottom is flat no pontil but there is a mark on the base see pic 2
l originally bought it thinking it might be rsw but now im not so sure
any thoughts appreciated

it's possible you are thinking of the 'Angular' RSW vase  -  which is more or less the colour of your piece, but has both shoulders and lower parts made at the same angle.     I don't have one, so not sure if there should be a ground pontil depression or not.         Although this web site appears to have ceased progress some time back, you will at least be able to see the vase of which I speak.

I'm wondering if this might be one of the range of Woolworth's items which are reminiscent of RSW designs? I have 2 squat pots in blue http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,17315.0.html and have one like mine in the same red as yours. That red one was labelled as Imported for Woolworths, which is how I pinned mine down. It'd be useful if we could find a labelled one of your style vase to confirm.
