Topic: Need help on an Orrefors signature.....PLEASE

Can anyone help identify this signature?

I wonder if the symbol just after Orrefors is JJ = Jan Johansson?

The next three symbols are more useful if that scratch was not just there.  Can you take another shot at a shallow angle so the base reflects light but the signature appears black?  That means the internal refractions are taken out of the picture and sometimes makes reading easier.

I would expect one of the three to represent a U = smooth uncut glass.

I think you might be correct.  I found an image of his signature on an Ariel vase and the "J" looks very similar:  http://www.danripley.com/oct10thmoderndesign/9035.jpg

The last three letters/numbers looks like U71

I actually meant the three letters after the "JJ" bit.  The design number looks to be 3471 or something similar to me.
