Hi, I came here after spending hours upon hours sifting through pictures and info and I am no where close to any answers. I have 3 Vases that belonged to my Mother and quite possibly handed down by my Great Grandmother who migrated to Canada from France, late 1800's. At any rate, I am not able to locate anything like them thus far and have read that Optical Lines, which all 3 have, are quite rare. I am so glad to have found this site. I always thought glass was made by machines. I think after viewing all the beautiful glass I may have a new found love!
Thank you for any input one might have. I will post 2 and 3 seperately under the title Heirlooms.
Heirloom Vase #1. A Vase without any color. It has tiny beads that form lines that swirl from bottom to top rim half way the circumfrence. The base are 4 round discs situated on top of each other they are graduated in size from bottom to top and the body of the Vase is atop the smallest disc. There may be a name on the bottom but not knowing Artists Marks, I am not sure.
#1. JPG is a straight on view

#2. JPG is looking down from the mouth or rim

#3. JPG is the base
