ID help on a glass jug appreciated
« on: August 23, 2012, 07:44:29 PM »
Hi again

does anyone recognise this type of jug please.

Ht: 6.5 inches,

cased - white interior, multicoloured centre, clear outer layer.

concave domed base with a deep pontil scar and what feels like an attempt at a ground area around that.

Im not getting very far, anyone hazard a guess at age - 1900 ish ?

thanks in advance

Mel
