Pressed Glass Ice Bucket - Scandinavian??
« on: August 29, 2012, 07:04:40 PM »
I am completely out of my comfort zone on this one, but this strikes me as something. I looked up Tapio Wirkkala and this pattern, except for the foot of the ice bucket, seems to resemble Ultima Thule glassware. It is likely a knock off, or something completely different. I am hoping that some of the oh so wise ones here in this field will be able to identify it for me.

It stands approx 7 inches tall and is 9.25 x 8.75 inches at the mouth. Nicely done and certainly looks like a quality piece.... Help Please.....

Sorry about the pic... taken with my phone in my office......

TIA  Craig
I have been told that glass is my mistress......

The shape is based on the Randi bowl by Gullaskruf but the pattern is not  - perhaps Oberglas?

Sorry. Deleted comment as it was a wrong identification.
