hi board.
i have just purchased the blue penguin which i believe to be a whitefriars boffo penguin (confirmation always welcome)but she has subtle differences to my other boffo penguin which i have had confirmed as right on the board.the new one is the blue one and i have pictured her with the brown one for comparrison.the blue one is slightly slimmer and the head is angled slightly differently too.base finished the same.wing grooves are slightly deeper and the brown one weights 180 grms more.
i have a couple of questions or 3;
does anyone have any idea of how many were actually made as they are always described as rare or scarce etc,and what colour ranges were they made in.also most i see have virtually no beak is that due to damages and regrinds?
as always happy hunting.
