Art Deco Centrepiece ID
« on: December 16, 2012, 11:13:57 PM »
Oh my... I have several of these in a variety of colours but am unable to establish the maker. Just purchased this one at auction. Am wondering if they were produced by the same factory as a similar centrepiece comport which like a few of my others (see second pic) have a pegged bowl. SURELY they are not by Walther & Sohne, me thinks. Czech??? Please help if you can....

Hello John  -  both designs are on Pamela's ' site ....  http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/      - as unknowns unfortunately  -  always a good place to look first for pressed deco style items. :)

cheers Paul S.  Will take a look.  They are rather nice and it's such a shame that the maker is unknown. It's also difficult know if the same maker produced both. I shall also ask Black Poppy. They have some fabulous examples too.
