Has a gadget mark as can be seen, so probably from somewhere c. 1870 - 1900. The colour is quite a mystery, I've not seen it before, and wonder if this was a glass for some specific drink i.e. absinthe perhaps or blonde wines. Poorly made - the uneven foot/cyst makes for a wonky stance, and the foot is way out of round - so guess a pub/tavern glass almost certainly. The bowl does have a moulded design - difficult to photograph, but appears like a quilited diamond pattern, and has fair amount of foot wear and bubble inclusions but no seeds that I can find. About 5.5" - 140mm tall.
No appreciable ring when flicked, and a slightly cloudy bowl - so I used Magic Balls and Brasso, and regret to say that it's now..........
slightly more cloudy than when I bought it:'( so Soda glass?? Might its origin be Continental rather than British??
Thanks for looking and all thoughts welcome
